eMEDICAL RECORDS eMEDICAL RECORDS

As a leader in healthcare management, this MCO is continuously improving its IT infrastructure to cater for its members' needs. Currently, this MCO has a chain of 9 fully owned clinics in its stable and plan to set up more clinics in the near future. These clinics are now on-line and equipped with the latest software programmes to store and retrieve medical records of patients. Creating electronic medical records for our members and instant retrieval of medical information by the treating doctor is vital for the following reasons :-

  • In the event of any medical emergencies, the treating doctor can retrieve the member's medical record instantly anywhere in the world via the website. Past medical history, including annual medical examination, blood profile report, in-patient record, out-patient record, existing medical condition, prescription of drug and medication is vital for the treating doctor to diagnose the illness accurately and to administer the correct medication for the patient to avoid any adverse drug reaction and save lives.
  • A member who has existing medical condition and on medication can retrieve their record instantly either from its clinics or through the website. This is useful for those who are travelling locally or overseas as they can obtain the same medication from the pharmacy or the treating doctor.
  • Members may wish to seek second medical opinion from overseas medical centre and there is no hassle in collating hard copies of the medical records.

ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT SAVES LIVES. REDUCE MEDICAL ERRORS!

Medical checkup results (every year), clinical records, personal & family medical histories (including those that members can retrieve from their previous doctors) and hospital admission records, etc., can be stored in the eMedical Record system.
